Police Officer I/Police Officer II

The Sharpsburg Police Department is currently seeking sworn law enforcement officers.  Lateral transfers, and Individuals possessing a General Law Enforcement certificate from the State of N.C Criminal Justice Education and Training and Standards Commission will be given first preference.

Police Officer I/Police Officer II

Status: Full-time 

Shift: Fixed Days or Nights

Shift Duration: 12 Hours

Salary/Pay Rate: Based on qualifications and experience

Qualifications: US Citizenship, 20 years of age, High School Diploma or Equivalent, valid NC Drivers License, BLET Graduate.

All applicants must have the ability to pass a medical, psychological and drug evaluation if applicable.

Applicants are required to reside within 30 minutes of Sharpsburg and must return a completed Personal History Statement (F3) with the Town of Sharpsburg Personnel Application.
