Town of Sharpsburg Receives $1,092,000 in Federal Funding for Wastewater System Rehabilitation
Sharpsburg, NC — The Town of Sharpsburg is pleased to announce that it has been awarded $1,092,000 in Community Project Funding to support critical wastewater system rehabilitation improvements. The funding was secured with the support and advocacy of Don Davis.
This investment will allow the Town to make necessary upgrades to its wastewater infrastructure, helping to ensure reliable service for residents, protect environmental quality, and strengthen the system for future growth and development. Aging infrastructure improvements are essential for small communities like Sharpsburg, where maintaining and modernizing utility systems can be a significant financial challenge.
